Keep Working Out at Home

Although we cannot do many things due to social distancing, exercising is one thing I’ve been doing every day. I have always run or walked in the past 10 years or so. I did 15 Day Push-up Challenge, and I now challenging myself to do plank every day for 15 days. On top of that, I’m also working out with my husband. Since he’s been working from home, we have time to do exercise together.

Until now, I mostly focused on running and walking, but my husband likes to do different kinds of workout. For example, this week, we did the following

Monday: Rest Day

Tuesday: Cize workout video and band resistance workout.

Wednesday: 30/60 60/120 interval training. Sprint 30 seconds, walk 60 seconds, sprint 30 seconds, walk 60 seconds, sprint 60 seconds, walk 120 seconds. We repeated this 5 times!

Today, we did Brutal HIIT training.

I agree it makes it fun to try something different every day. And it’s even more fun to be creative and think about what we can do when we cannot go to the gym to work out. I’m grateful I have a great partner I can work out with, and he supports me to push myself harder.

I’m looking forward to what we’ll do tomorrow.
