Nurturing Trust in a Virtual Space

I’ve launched my 7 Week Resiliency Workshop online, and we had two zoom meetings so far: a kick-off meeting the day before the workshop started, and one-week debriefing meeting yesterday. The participants have told me that they love the connection with other members, and they enjoy being authentic and sharing their knowledge and experience in the virtual community. Resiliency Workshop: Gratitude Discovery Session - Success!

Today was the end of the first week for my 7 week Resiliency Workshop. The first week, our group has worked on Gratitude every day. To close the first week, we had a non-mandatory casual Discovery Session on Zoom. I was happy to see 8 participants connecting from Korea, Japan, Singapore, and Austria who are originally from Japan, Korea, France, US, Austria, and Slovakia.

Bath Time Is Quality Time with My Son

My son and I’ve been taking a bath every night. Since my first son died in November, it’s been important for me to feel my second son more. For me, taking a bath together with my second son has been a way to feel his existence directly. I was hoping that it was good for his grieving also because we can both boost our oxytocin. After we get out of the bath, it was out ritual to drink some water, milk, or juice together.
