Background

Life gives a lot of challenges. For me, the past 6 years have been tough. Leaving a full-time job to be a freelancer, going through a divorce, finding out my first son has a cancer, experiencing his life in a wheelchair together, fighting cancer for 4 years, and finally, losing him in November 2019.

Many people have told me that I’m strong. They said don’t know how I can bounce back from so many challenges in my life. I did not think it was my strength, but now I know, that I gradually built resilience by doing certain things.

What We Do

In this workshop, I’d like to share how I built my resilience over the years. I’ll introduce the 6 pillars of resiliency.

  • Gratitude

  • Wellness

  • Mindfulness

  • Vulnerability

  • Empathy

  • Strength

I want to create a safe space for people to connect with each other, learn from each other, and empower each other. In order to do so, we’ll do two things: 1) We’ll make a closed Facebook group with the participants (up to 10 people), and each topic will be discussed weekly. The first week will be Gratitude, and I’ll ask a question such as “What are you grateful for today?” and the participants can answer. It can be one short sentence. Something simple. 2) We also meet every Tuesday from 10pm-11:30pm Korea/Japan time on zoom to have an online group coaching sessions.

Price

It’s 150 USD for 7 Weeks. Payment instructions will be sent after registration. To continue my son Ty’s legacy, 10% of the fee, 15USD, will be donated to Korea Childhood Leukemia Foundation and Make-A-WIsh Foundation Korea. These two foundations supported us when Ty and I were fighting cancer.

Registration

If you’re interested, please register here before May 31st, 10pm Korea/Japan time. Looking forward to hearing from you!

If you would like to know more how I started this workshop, here’s my YouTube video clip explaining why I’m doing this workshop.

Here are some testimonials from the participants of the previous 7 Week Resilience Workshop

If you feel working on your self-awareness and reflecting on topics like resilience, midfulness and vulnerability, you are right on taking Tomomi`s workshop. She is very dedicated and professional, empathatic and a strong motivator. She puts a lot of knowledge and a big heart into her work. I highly recommend taking that workshop.

Thank you so much for giving me the great opportunity to learn about myself and build resilience muscles with amazing members. You created the safe space for me by sharing ground rules, having meetings once a week and personally reached out to me when I was not participating that much. All those kindness actions you made gave me a power to open up myself and connect with myself, family ,friends and other members. Even I’ve only known them for the past 7 weeks, I had a very deep time with them. The great things I’ve learned through this workshop will keep supporting me to be a better version of myself. Thank you so much again. You are the best!
Thank you for letting me know about this workshop. I benefitted greatly from your leadership, facilitation, and your own participation in the daily habits. I think your emphasis on daily habits is the strength of your content and you set an excellent example for us.
I loved meeting new people from all around the world and hearing their stories. It was a great, safe space to be your true, authentic self. This workshop was such a blessing during the COVID-19 pandemic. I will always be able to reflect on the lessons learned from this workshop. Thank you, Tomomi
Thank you for guiding us for the past 7 weeks. The workshop was more than what I expected. You created a very safe space for everybody and showed us a very strategic way to become more resilient. The participants were very international with different backgrounds, which made this workshop even more inspiring and interesting!
Great workshop! I would recommend if you feel you are facing some challenges, or you want to make your life better.
