On my 45th birthday, I wanted to start something new. So, I made my first YouTube video. I know, equipment and my skills are limited, so it’s not perfect, but I believe it’s a good start!

I chose this because practicing mindfulness everyday helped me very much when I was fighting with my son’s cancer, especially dealing with the negatives feelings such as regret, anger, anxiety, and worry. Over the years, it became my habit to do at least 10 minutes of meditation everyday, but it can be anything from simply taking one deep breath to listening to a guided meditation program on an app.

To close the first week, we had a non-mandatory casual Discovery Session on Zoom. I was happy to see 8 participants connecting from Korea, Japan, Singapore, and Austria who are originally from Japan, Korea, France, US, Austria, and Slovakia.
